Electrician resume example
A trades resume is short and factual: the licence, the kind of work, the size of the jobs, and a safety record. A foreman reads it in thirty seconds.
What we would lead with
- Licence level and state, and hours if you are an apprentice
- Type of work: residential, commercial, industrial, service, new construction
- Safety record and code knowledge, stated as facts
The mistake we would warn you about
Leaving off the licence, or burying it under an objective statement. It is the first thing the reader looks for.
