Data science resumes fail on the same thing: models described in detail, impact described not at all. A model that never shipped is a course project.

- Models in production, and what they changed
- How you validated: offline metrics alone do not convince anyone senior
- Engineering competence, because a model nobody can deploy is not an asset

Listing algorithms. Nobody is hiring for knowledge of gradient boosting; they are hiring for someone who can tell whether the problem needs it.
Bullet points that work for data scientists
Each one opens with an action verb, says what was done, and ends with a result.
- Shipped a ranking model that lifted marketplace conversion 12%, held over a six-week holdout.
- Replaced a demand forecast with a simpler model that was 3% less accurate offline and 20% better in production.
- Built the offline-to-online evaluation harness that caught two regressions before they reached users.
