Growth Marketer resume example
Growth is an experimental discipline. The resume should show a rate of learning, not only a list of wins.
What we would lead with
- Experiment volume and win rate: honest numbers beat cherry-picked ones
- Which part of the funnel you own
- Technical ability to ship tests without waiting on engineering
The mistake we would warn you about
Only listing successes. Someone who ran 60 tests and won 12 is more credible than someone with four wins and no denominator.
Bullet points that work for growth marketers
Each one opens with an action verb, says what was done, and ends with a result.
- Ran 74 experiments in a year with a 19% win rate, compounding to a 41% lift in trial-to-paid conversion.
- Rebuilt onboarding around a single activation event, taking week-one retention from 38% to 55%.
- Launched a referral programme that now drives 14% of new signups at a third of paid acquisition cost.
- Cut time-to-launch for an experiment from 9 days to 2 by building a test harness the team could use unaided.
